The Breeders Cup, which is the two-day culmination of the horse racing season, begins tomorrow (Friday November 1st) at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club in California. This years event features 14 races, over the two days, with $30 million in purses and awards to be won by the best horses from this past season. The event’s main race takes place in prime-time on Saturday evening with the $7 Million Breeders Cup Classic showcasing the fastest horses in the world on NBC at 5:41pm EST.
In this years Breeders Cup Classic there are several contenders with a legitimate chance of winning the race. City of Troy is the morning line favorite with odds of 5/2, but Fierceness (3/1) is right there with similar odds as a top contenders as well.
City of Troy is coming off three straight impressive wins in Great Britain, including winning the Epsom Derby in June. Fierceness has put his poor showing at the Kentucky Derby behind him with wins at the Jim Dandy and the Travers Stakes leading into the Breeders Cup Classic, showing why he was a Derby favorite after his Florida Derby win in March.

#3. Place Your Breeders Cup Bets
Now it’s time to place your bets! BetOnline is accepting bets on the Breeders Cup races all week leading into the races on the weekend.

You should then select the date of the race you want to bet on (Nov 01 or Nov 02) and the race # of the race. The Breeders Cup Classic is race #8 on Saturday November 2nd.
Next you can select the type of bet you want to make (straight, exacta, trifecta, superfecta, etc) and place your bets in the boxes of your desired horses.
