Mike Tyson will return to the ring this Saturday November 28th to throw down with fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. in an 8 round exhibition match. The match was originally scheduled for September 12th, but was rescheduled and moved to the STAPLES Center in LA to allow for more build up. Tyson has not boxed competitively since 2005, but he looks to be in great shape at 54 years old and curious boxing fans from around the world will surely tune into the pay-per-view. Tyson will have his hands full with Roy Jones Jr. who is three years his junior and has continued to compete professionally with his most recent fight taking place in 2018.
There is some concern that a winner will not be crowned, which caused many sportsbooks to take down odds for the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. fight on Wednesday. The California State Athletic Commission stated that the fight will be a hard sparring session meant for entertainment and there will be no official winner. The promoters from Triller, who are putting on the event, fired back later in the day saying that the fighters will be going 100% and that there could be a knockout. The promoters also stated that there will indeed be an unofficial winner crowned by three celebrity judges. Based on the uncertainty surrounding the fight betting sites are hesitant to take action. That said, there is a sportsbook currently taking bets: MyBookie.ag.
