NFL fans will get a chance to watch a rematch of one of the most entertaining playoff games last season, when the Seattle Seahawks play the Green Bay Packers in a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship Game. The game will be played at Lambeau Field, and is scheduled for Sunday night at 8:30 PM. ET.
Last season, the Seahawks rallied to defeat the Packers who forced Russell Wilson into the worst performance of his career. Seattle was able to complete the comeback when Brandon Bostick bobbled and lost the ball on an onside kick. The Seahawks recovered the ball and went on to win the game in overtime.
The Packers know that a week 2 win against the Seahawks doesn’t mean as much as the NFC Championship game, but it will provide them with some measure of satisfaction, and make them 2-0, which will put the Seahawks in a 0-2 hole. A win by the Packers will also give them their first win against Seattle in their last four tries.

My Pick
Last week, The Packers defeated the Bears to open up their season. Even without their leading receiver Jordy Nelson, the Packers were able to move the ball very efficiently against the Bears. Their defense was shaky at the start of the game, but they settled down and found a way to shut down Jay Cutler.
Their run defense didn’t look very impressive and allowed Matt Forte to gain 141 yards and 1 touchdown during the game. They will need a better performance this week as they go up against Marshawn Lynch, who torched them during the NFC Championship game last season.
Seattle suffered a surprising loss to the St. Louis Rams last week, and will be looking to get back on track against the Packers. In their game against the Rams, their defense gave up 34 points, which is something that doesn’t happen very often against the Seahawks.
Part of the reason for their poor defense was the fact that they didn’t have safety Kam Chancellor in the game. Chancellor is currently holding out for a new contract and doesn’t plan on returning anytime soon.
Offensively, Seattle went away from what they do best, Russell Wilson threw the ball 41 times while Marshawn Lynch carried it only 18 times. If the Seahawks don’t go back to their power running game this week, they will have a hard time winning the game.
Jimmy Graham, Seattle’s biggest offseason acquisition caught six passes for 51 yards and 1 touchdown. They also have to find a way to get him more involved in the offense to win this game.
Even without Jordy Nelson, the Packers still have one of the best offenses in the NFL, and should be able to put up some points against the Seahawks. As long as their run defense can contain Marshawn Lynch, they will have a chance to win this game.
