- Spread – Argentina is a 1 goal favorite in the first game of the tournament vs Ecuador. Argentina must win by 2 or more goals for a spread bet on Argentina to payout. If Ecudaor wins the game outright or the game ends in a regulation time draw then the spread bets on Ecuador would payout. If Argentina wins by 1 goal in regulation then the spread bets would push.
- Money Line – Also known as the match result, 1×2 or 3-way betting line. This is simply a bet on the outcome of the match in regulation. Argentina is a -200 favorite, which means you would have to risk $200 to win $100 betting on Argentina. Ecuador is a +790 underdog, so a $100 bet on Ecuador would win $790 (payout $890) if they won the game in regulation.
- Total – The total is a bet on the amount of goals to be scored in the game by both teams combined. In this example the total is set at 2 goals. If 3 or more goals are scored the over bet would win. If 1 or fewer goals are scored the under bets would win. If exactly 2 goals are scored in regulation time then the total bets would push.
